I have been a professional photographer for over 10 years. In all of this time, whatever I have photographed I have captured a personal connection with a lifestyle feel to all images.

Even when I was photographing on the event field with top event riders such as Harry Meade and William Fox-Pitt, it was the preparation and lifestyle that I was interested in capturing.

I would often be up at the same time as the grooms, part of the story I am telling is the incredible work that goes into Eventing.

I would, of course, capture the thrills of each phase of the event; dressage, show jumping and the cross country. However, my creativity was spiked when it came to the wash off, or the enormous gratitude the rider and owner shows the horse after performing.

After 7 front covers, countless feature and editorial images and advertising commercial images in magazines, I hung up my Eventing boots earlier in 2017. I did this because my private commissions of Equine Lifestyle Portrait Sessions are filling up my diary at an incredible rate.

For the past 10 years I have offered equine portraits at a location of your choice. Fitting these in amongst the eventing dates was becoming impossible and I don’t want to compromise on my time with my clients. I offer an incredibly high service. I make booking your session easy. The pre-consultation is relaxed but informative. I offer my clients a welcome pack and style guide. The shoot itself is unpressured, designed around you and your horse and most of all fun.

The viewing and ordering session is held in the comfort of your own home, or in my Wiltshire studio. I have samples of everything I offer for sale, so you can see, touch and admire them before ordering. I guide this session to allow you to enjoy your images without being overwhelmed with what you are going to do with them. We design artwork and displays together and I take care of all the details and delivery.

“If it’s not comfortable, it’s not luxury” – Coco Chanel

These words are so important to me. I make sure that I don’t take too many commissions per year that my service or attention starts slipping.

So to answer the original question, what is my expertise?

My knowledge of what a connection and moment looks like. I capture the real relationship between you and your horse in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. My clients constantly tell me that they have real fun on their shoot, this is what shines through in your images.
