Helen was given a Bespoke Equine Portrait Shoot as a gift from her lovely friends. When I arrived at Helen’s yard I can honestly say I don’t think I have had a more nervous client. Of course, I assured Helen that there was nothing to be nervous about and once I had walked her through our morning together she relaxed immediately.
We started the morning by going for a walk around the surrounding area looking for backdrops and pockets of light, once we had nattered about our love of horses and Helen’s love of her mare Kate, Helen was chilled out and ready.
We were blessed with warm spring sunshine for our shoot and you can see the slips of light we found from some of the shots below. Helen brought along her very sweet little dog, who stuck like glue to me and kept me in line!
We were also able to use The Castleman Hotel and Restaurant in Chettle as one of our backdrops. So thank you to them for allowing us use of your front drive.
