A Classic Beauty & Artist

I had the absolute privilege of photographing Madeleine Banbury recently at her temporary home in Malmesbury.

Madeleine is a phenomenal and extremely talented equestrian artist, someone I have followed for a while and her attention to detail in her portraits is inspiring. She paints from her models being in front of her, rather than using still images, giving another depth to her paintings.

Madeleine has a natural air of kindness and calmness around her chestnut hunting mare, Thunder. The location for this shoot offered so much, including a wonderfully large barn, which is where she has been painting a life size portrait of her gorgeous Thunder.

I had such fun with them both and I adored the addition of the traditional hunting clothes and jackets she added to this set.
